Serveur? Linux?
A server is a computer that gathers and distributes information to other computers. Usually, it's the central point of any network. Linux (Slackware version) is the operating system used by the Progi-Pac server (your main system).
Why this update?
This udate is interesting because of the new functionalities it brings. The main ones are presented on the right.
New features
Data protection
Around 80% of defiencies on a computer occur on the hard disk, where all of your information is stored.
"RAID" Technology
This functionality insures that a copy of the system is continously updated on a secondary disk. This way, if the main disk fails, the copy automatically "replaces" it. So your system continues to work, and you don't have to wait around for the technician to come.

- NO DOWNTIME
The new disk automatically springs into action, so your system stays up and running. - PROTECTED DATA
Your information is constantly copied, so you don't loose important data. - SAVINGS

Work at home? Of course... With this update, you will be able to access the system from a remote location, using a high speed internet connection.
